DHS relied on crackpot website to smear right-wing groups

According to the results of a Freedom of Information Act request, DHS relied on a crackpot website to smear right-wing groups in that notorious threat report. The report that warned that returned military personnel and pro-lifers should be treated as potentially dangerous because they would form militias and overthrow the government.

DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano’s researchers liked one particularly apocalyptic web site so much that they cited it 11 times in their report. This site – called “What It Means” – often warns that the world is about to end, as with this recent headline: “Death Star Pandemic of 2009-2012: End of Age Begins.”

DHS Needs to Report Itself to Flag@whitehouse.gov for spreading misinformation.

Considering the lack of substance that is coming out of the White House and Congress (and the DHS), shouldn’t the snitch hotline be:

    flaccid@whitehouse.whatever

I mean, these folks make it too easy. If it weren’t for the Vast Media Conspiracy all of these ”brainiacs” would be out of a job. Thank God Al Gore invented the Internet.
