10. Maybe there’s something to it, but obsessing on the details of the Hawaiian long form certificate of live birth (COLB) makes you look like a 9-11 troofer going on an on about microthermite sphericles or whatever.
9. His college and medical records have not been released, and those are probably more damaging. Focus, people!
8. There is so much else to attack Obama on: record deficits, lies about not signing tax increases into law, lying about his health care plan, the massive culture of white house corruption. The birth certificate controversy is simply not necessary.
7. The birther controversy allows the media to discredit the opposition to Obama’s corruption, spending, and socialism.
6. Birthers are playing into the hands of the left by allowing #7 and #8 to happen. You wanna be a tool of the left? You wanna help Obama succeed? Keep flogging the birth certificate issue.
5. The GOP has a chance to gain ground in 2010, and the birther controversy makes it harder to move forward. The MSM will happily use the birthers to whack the GOP in 2010: “See, these people are nuts and you want to vote for them!”
4. Worldnet Daily and Newsmax are all over this b-tch. If something comes up, they’ll let us know. We don’t need to worry about it.
3. It implies the conspiracy to make Barack Obama president literally began the day he was born. That’s plain nutty.
2. Obama and his cronies have had years to create fake documents, so even if a long form COLB were produced, the birthers would just say it was faked anyway.
1. Best possible outcome: President Biden, Vice President Pelosi.
Update: I take it back. We now have proof positive Obama was not born in Hawaii.

If I were Obama, I would string everyone along until I really need to rally people. Then, at just the right moment, I’d give a speech:
All my life I’ve been an American. I felt like an American. I lived like an American (blah, blah)… My mother was American and she loved this country (blah, blah). There are those that try to bring up issues (blah, blah) because they don’t want to argue about the substance of helping the American people (blah, blah).
I’ve presented all the evidence I can to prove I’m an American. Is it possible that maybe my white {emphasis} mother lied to me? Maybe she tried to shield me from the truth? That maybe she was afraid of raising a black child {emphasis} in a white {emphasis} world? Is it possible she told me I was born in Hawaii when maybe she did not believe that? Yes.
But I’m here to tell you that I am proud to be an American and I’m proud to be your president.
Folks, he could pull another 4 years out of his *** with that speech.
The birth certificate issue is a political issue. Even if there were photographs of him coming out of the womb under a “Welcome to Kenya” sign, without the support of the American people, he’s not going anywhere. And the Supreme Court will not rule on this case. Not now. Not ever. They will not rule on a politically charged election case. Against 200 years of precedent, they got involved in 2000, and they won’t dare do it again.
And I don’t think the American people care about the intricacies of Obama’s birth. I really don’t. I think most people believe if you are born to an American parent, you are American. That may not be legally true, but “popular opinion” is all that counts. And I’m sure you’ll have a hard time convincing people otherwise. Hell, if a child born in America to 2 illegal immigrants is American, how can Obama not be? And beating up on him for not having all the right documents to prove he’s American will just make him the sympathetic underdog.
I’m not saying the doubters are wrong about the facts. I’m saying we need to consider the politics.
Americans don’t want their president being kicked out on what they believe is a “technicality.”
We would have bedlam if the legitimately elected black {emphasis} president were removed against the will of the people.
And it would play into the Sharpton/Jackson race card agenda as well.
I can’t stand the guy. But I’m not about to try to kick him out over this.
Yep, the birther controversy is a rope-a-dope.
It’s not just his real birth certificate, which he has spent upwards of $1 Million to keep ”secret”, but his entire past that I would like to have revealed.

So, just like the Left tries to frame the Tea Party demonstration to be ”just” about taxes (they are most definitely not) this ”Birther” (a phrase created by a Leftist to create disdain for Constitutionalists seeking the truth) BS is not just about Hussein’s birth certificate. It’s about the most secretive president in history. It’s about what he could be hiding – and the amount of secrecy is simply staggering.
So I will not be pigeon-holed into a classification created by the Left. And I want to know the real history of the Supreme Poseur, Hussein. I’m an American and I have that right. It’s not something I ”made up” like the scenarios of the 9-11 Truthers, it’s a quest for the truth. I make no assumptions about the ‘Kenyan Turd’. Except that one. 😉
Doktor American
The time lines, places, actions, motives, when analyzed, support, and are consistent with, what is the answer to the Obama birth puzzle:
Obama’s grandmother is his mother and his mother is his sister.
Think about it. Review all the facts and claims.
I’m not sure what to believe when it comes to Obama. The guy made it to the top by lying and conniving. Look at the Democrat Illinois Senate primaries in 2004 and the same for the General Senate race in 2004 with Blair Hull and Jack Ryan. Obama wouldn’t be where he is if it weren’t for the left and their invasion of the opposing candidates’ privacy and conniving and corruption.
In response to your arguments.
10. Maybe there’s something to it, but obsessing on the details of the Hawaiian long form certificate of live birth (COLB) makes you look like a 9-11 troofer going on an on about microthermite sphericles or whatever.
Yeah, and look how damaging that was to liberals. They dominated both of the last two elections, gaining super majorities in both houses of Congress and winning the presidency by running an empty-suit, community organizer.
9. His college and medical records have not been released, and those are probably more damaging. Focus, people!
Agreed.
8. There is so much else to attack Obama on: record deficits, lies about not signing tax increases into law, lying about his health care plan, the massive culture of white house corruption. The birth certificate controversy is simply not necessary.
Agreed.
7. The birther controversy allows the media to discredit the opposition to Obama’s corruption, spending, and socialism.
See response to #10.
6. Birthers are playing into the hands of the left by allowing #7 and #8 to happen. You wanna be a tool of the left? You wanna help Obama succeed? Keep flogging the birth certificate issue.
See response to #10.

Agreed.
3. It implies the conspiracy to make Barack Obama president literally began the day he was born. That’s plain nutty.
Your logic is faulty on a number of levels. It is possible Obama is not a natural born citizen, either because he was born in Kenya, as his paternal grandmother has reportedly stated she attended the birth there, or due to legal technicalities (non-citizen father and mother was a minor). Some have claimed his scholarship to Occidental College was one reserved for foreign students. Later, he decided to run for president and concealed his ineligibility. No long-term conspiracy is required.
2. Obama and his cronies have had years to create fake documents, so even if a long form COLB were produced, the birthers would just say it was faked anyway.
That may be, but what is your point? What is they can’t produce documents or fakes are denounced as such by authorities?
1. Best possible outcome: President Biden, Vice President Pelosi.
Agreed on Biden (I don’t think Speaker automatically gets VP; Biden selects), but that is still an improvement.
