Apparently, Chairman Zero had his Kommissarr for the Ministry of Motherland Security (DHS), Janet Napolitano, make the rounds of the morning propaganda shows to perform damage control on this week’s Assessment that depicted returning veterans as sociopaths, and equated pro-lifers, gun-owners, and anyone who prefers state and local control rather than rule from Washington as a hate-filled extremist and potential terrorist threat.
Using the Obama Regime’s standard tactic when caught doing something abominable, she blamed Bush by pointing out that the report was initiated under the Bush Administration like a similar report on left-wing extremists that was released in January. This claim does not stand up to scrutiny by a reasonably intelligent person. While some person in the Bush DHS may have requested some sort assessment, it’s clear what was released this week is a product of the Obama administration.
- It’s only nine pages long. Even a DHS bureaucrat doesn’t need more three months to produce nine pages of work.
- It refers to specific conditions, like new gun control laws and the election of Barack Obama, that had not happened yet under the Bush administration.
- It reads like like a sophomore term paper written by a left-wing red diaper baby. “Rightwing extremists have capitalized on the election of the first African American president, and are focusing their efforts to recruit new members, mobilize existing supporters, and broaden their scope and appeal through propaganda…” and so on. These assertions are presented as facts without any supporting evidence provided.
This report was the quintessence of the Obama administration … insulting, sophomoric, and a waste of taxpayer money.
