In letters to bureaucrats, Chairman 0 promised massive new spending and expanded powers… except for the Defense Department, of course.
“Obama wrote to employees in the departments of Labor, Defense, Housing and Urban Development, and Veterans Affairs, along with the TSA, the EPA and the Social Security Administration. Defense was the only area in which he did not make promises requiring additional spending,”
The job of a federal bureaucrat is loaded with perks, benefits, and security with zero expectation of results. It is the Giant Money Hole of Onion fame. And productive people are taxed by it, regulated by it, and subjugated by it. And Chairman 0 wants to make it bigger, more expensive, more intrusive, and less accountable.
